Nagasawa Takashi is an ordinary high school student, a bit of a geek with a crush on a girl. As a member of the biology club, his life takes an unusual turn when he gets bitten by a mouse and panics, fearing he might get the plague. One evening, while walking home from school, he stumbles upon an accident scene where he is attacked and bitten by a large, rodent-like creature.
