Takako was Oyamada's fiancée. She tragically died in a car accident, causing Oyamada to blame himself for not being able to save her with his magic.

In a vision shown by Yume, it is revealed that if Oyamada had died instead of Takako, she would have led a very sorrowful life and been unable to move on from loving him. This realization helps Oyamada understand that he is doing the same by not letting go of her memory.

Through the connection facilitated by Yume, Takako's spirit also expresses her wish for Oyamada's happiness and gives her blessing to him and Melinda.
