Taijou Roukun is the founder of Togenkyou, Shinkouhyou's master, and the one who raised Ryo Yuukyou. He is among the Sandai Sennin but is exceptionally lazy. It appears he has little concern for the world, spending nearly every moment of his life sleeping inside his Taida Suit. He only wakes up for a few seconds every three years or so.
Taijou Roukun owns several paopei. Like other Great Sennin, he possesses one of the seven super paopei, the Taikyokuzu. Eventually, he gives this to Taikoubou since it holds no interest for him. Additionally, he has the Ippakaseikunhaipa, a paopei resembling a toy hammer, and his self-created Taida Suit that protects him while he sleeps and even breathes for him because he is too lazy to breathe on his own. Later, he obtains the Keiseigensho, which was initially in Dakki's possession.
