segawa stringer

Stringer Segawa is the father of Izumi and Kotetsu. He made his first appearance in Chapter 170, when Miki and Risa were curious about Izumi's whereabouts. Despite Miki and Risa finding it annoying, Stringer takes great pride in his mustache.

Besides his attachment to his facial hair, he is highly protective of his daughter, Izumi. He has declared that if any boy she likes or falls for is deemed unworthy, he will personally take care of him, specifically referring to Hayate. Moreover, he enjoys seeing Izumi dressed up as a maid or in various cosplay outfits, which he views as expressions of his affection and paternal love towards her.

His favorite catchphrase for those he considers unworthy is "You punk!" Furthermore, he often becomes a victim of Hayate's misunderstandings and tends to get lost in thought whenever the topic involves boys with Izumi.
