Spartacus is one of Fortuna's adoptive sons and the leader of the Pankration team during the D of D tournament. He is depicted as a kind, calm, and religious individual who, despite his immense power, despises fighting.
Spartacus is a tall and muscular man with pale curly long hair tied in a ponytail. He has light-colored eyes and a scar running from his right eye to his cheek. While battling, he dresses like a Gladiator.
Spartacus is among the first fighters Kenichi encounters during the D of D tournament. Despite his formidable aura, he quickly befriends Kenichi due to his positive and gentle nature, leading Kenichi to believe that Spartacus is the only normal person in the tournament besides himself.
During the tournament, Spartacus and his team are initially seen competing in a battle royale against the Brazilian Jiujitsu team. Spartacus instructs two members to take down one opponent at a time, effectively depleting the enemy team's manpower, though Kenichi observes that each member could have easily defeated an opponent individually.
Furthermore, Spartacus becomes anxious at the sight of even a minor scratch on a teammate's arm, demanding immediate medical attention. This reaction stems from the Pankration team's history; they were all slaves sold to Fortuna for entertainment through fights to the death. They aim to win the tournament to secure their freedom and avoid losing any teammates.
The Pankration team plans to escape the island but is spotted by Kenichi and Miu. Mistaking their intentions, Spartacus charges at Miu, believing they intend to stop their escape. However, both Kenichi and Miu end up saving Spartacus and Octavia from a fall. After hearing their story, Kenichi and Miu promise to assist them in their escape.
Shortly after, the Pankration team meets Kanou Shou, who helps them escape on one of Fortuna's boats. To fake their deaths, Kanou takes Spartacus's ponytail.
