Sora is Daichi's older brother and is very popular with girls at school. Daichi considers Sora a traitor for approving their father's remarriage. After visiting the Lavender House in Hokkaido, Sora reveals to Najika that he was the one who gave her the flan six years ago. This revelation makes Najika start to like Sora.
As Sora tries to get closer to Najika, Daichi, who has developed a crush on her, becomes jealous. He also suspects that Sora might have ulterior motives and could hurt Najika in the future.
It is later revealed that it was actually Daichi who gave Najika the flan six years ago.
In chapter 23, Sora dies after being hit by a truck while bringing Najika some vanilla beans so she can make her flan for the competition.
