Fuurinji Shizuha made her first appearance in Battle 192. She was 36 years old at the time of her death. Her fighting style is classified as Dou, and she practiced Katsujin Ken martial arts, specifically Fuurinji Style Martial Arts. Shizuha was Miu's mother, Saiga's wife, and Hayato's daughter-in-law.
Shizuha had a tall, fair-skinned physique. Like her daughter, she was slender yet curvaceous and athletic, with notably large breasts. Her long dark hair hung below her waist. She styled her hair in a hime cut, with short bangs reaching her cheeks and framing her face. Some strands hung between her eyes, while thick strands in front of her ears fell over her shoulders, held by elegant bands. Part of her hair flowed freely, some was braided at the nape of her neck, and the rest was secured by a spiraling band.
She wore two red hair clips, one concealing a small knife and the other a lock pick. Typically, Shizuha dressed in a long floral kimono. Underneath, she wore a tight body outfit similar to what Miu wears. In battle, she donned gauntlets and armor on her shoulders, outer thighs, and legs up to her knees. Like Miu, her hair became wild when her Ki exploded.
Shizuha was a kind woman who deeply loved her daughter and was willing to die protecting her. Brave and selfless, she cared for others and would do anything for those she loved. She fell in love with Saiga during secluded walks in the mountains and wished to marry him.
Born into the Kuremisago Clan, known for matching people with superior genes, Shizuha was revered even within her clan for her excellent lineage. However, her clan disapproved of her relationship with an outsider like Saiga. Saiga believed that marrying outsiders should be permissible, gaining support from Shizuha and many other Kuremisago. This led to a feud dividing the clan. Shizuha fought alongside Saiga during these conflicts and later married him with Hayato’s blessing.
Afterwards, she sent a letter warning the elder about an urgent matter, likely related to her husband's descent into Satsujin Ken. By the time the elder arrived, Shizuha was already dead, seemingly killed by Saiga. Before dying, she left a feather to guide the elder to her hidden daughter in the snow.
Though little is shown of her overall abilities, being a member of the Kuremisago Clan implies she was an extremely powerful fighter. Taking down several clan members with Saiga alone proved her worth. Even Hayato, known as the Invincible Superman, complimented her skills. She demonstrated incredible power and skill, nearly matching the current leader of Yami while protecting her infant daughter.
