Fatty, a high school student, was initially spotted by Josuke after he trailed some of Harvest's Stand parts during a coin-collecting spree. Josuke was wary, fearing the discovery of a potential enemy Stand user. Initially, Josuke and Okuyasu perceived Fatty as completely foolish due to his unusual display of generosity in sharing the wealth he had just amassed using Harvest (his intention was to make friends). Despite this, Josuke refused to exploit Fatty's naivety. Instead, he proposed working together with Fatty and then equally dividing the spoils. However, their plan unraveled when Fatty turned against them, feeling insulted at being called an idiot and not comprehending that they deserved an equal share of the money they had all worked for together. This led to a frantic chase, during which Fatty revealed Harvest's strength lies in its numerous Stand parts. Employing multiple attacks from Harvest's men along with underhanded tactics, such as injecting alcohol directly into Josuke and Okuyasu's bloodstream, Fatty proved to be a formidable opponent. After being subdued, Fatty finally acknowledged that Josuke and Okuyasu indeed deserved one-third each of the collected money. They then became friends at school. Later, through an unfortunate coincidence, Fatty uncovered Yoshikage Kira's murderous nature. Unfortunately, this knowledge cost him his life before he could seek help from Josuke.
