She hails from a wealthy family and resides in a mansion with her butler, Albert (known as Jii in Japan). However, she is often seen traveling overseas to battle other mamodo teams. At first, she claims no interest in the kingship or the battles, stating she fights solely to free her former best friend, Koko, from the influence of an evil mamodo named Zofis. Later in the series, it becomes evident that she genuinely wants to assist Brago in becoming king.
Her mother was domineering and proud, expecting Sherry to be flawless as a child. She constantly expressed disappointment and disdain towards Sherry when she fell short. Consequently, Sherry grew up deeply unhappy and eventually attempted suicide by jumping into a turbulent river. She was saved by Koko, who convinced her that staying alive was crucial to finding future happiness. They quickly became best friends.
Koko was frequently bullied due to her poverty. When Zofis encountered her, he exploited this vulnerability, manipulating her emotions to bring forth those painful memories, transforming Koko into a cold-hearted individual seeking revenge. Using the spellbook, Koko set fire to their hometown just as Sherry received news of Koko's acceptance into a prestigious university. In utter shock over Koko's actions, Sherry was unable to defend herself against Zofis’s attack.
Sherry’s life was saved once again, this time by Brago, who trained her to fight despite despising her weakness compared to his strength. When they confronted Zofis and Koko again, Zofis made Sherry believe that Koko had willingly turned against her, causing her determination to waver and hindering her spell-casting abilities. Though they nearly lost, Sherry's faith in her friend prevailed, and they ultimately triumphed. After burning Zofis's book and restoring Koko's heart to normal, Sherry pledged to make Brago king out of gratitude. However, this vow remains unfulfilled as Brago is defeated by Zatch.
