Sehrul Rahman is the Kalarippayattu master affiliated with Yami's One Shadow, Nine Fists and the mentor of Ethan Stanley. He stands as a tall and muscular figure with long hair slicked back and a lengthy light beard. His attire reflects traditional Indian clothing, complemented by golden arm bands around his wrists. Given his age surpassing fifty years, he ranks among the senior members.
Sehrul displays a gentle and passive demeanor, exemplified when he intervenes to prevent Kushinada Chikage from self-inflicting punishment. He advocates that "the punishments in martial arts should be administered through martial arts." Among the masters, he uniquely lacks enthusiasm for pitting his disciple against Kenichi. Nevertheless, his lethal capabilities are evident when he strikes the marma points of those sent to detain him, nearly killing them had it not been for the intervention of Ryozanpaku masters.
His disciple acknowledges Sehrul’s gentleness, expressing a desire to defeat Kenichi to protect Rachel Stanley from Silcardo Jenazad’s harm. Furthermore, Sehrul demonstrates remarkable tolerance, influencing his disciple's character to contrast sharply with Diego Carlo's flamboyant nature.
