Sawako Tokiji serves as the Chairwoman of F.L.A.G. and is one of the heirs to the Tokiji Company. Previously, she was engaged to Karasawa Shiro, and it is strongly suggested that she became pregnant with his child. After he was captured following his transformation into a Kanshu but still retained control over his mind, he persuaded her to release him by claiming he was in pain, only to attack her afterward. The injuries sustained left her unable to have children, and she mentioned that the assault also resulted in the death of her unborn child.
Sawako had a twin sister named Sayako, who was killed on Hatsumi Island and subsequently turned into Ende. However, Sawako could not become a Lost Rebound and completely forgot about Sayako until she encountered Ende during F.L.A.G.'s Longest Day. Upon seeing Ende, she finally remembered Sayako and rushed outside the base, where Ende brought her to Sayako so they could converse. Nevertheless, after Ende was defeated, Sawako vanished, and her current whereabouts remain unknown.
