A mysterious figure resembling a two-year-old toddler emerges, bearing an uncanny likeness to Riku's deceased aunt Amane. Neene emerged from a cocoon at the beginning of the tale and experiences rapid growth spurts every time she utilizes her powers during Kanshu battles. She affectionately refers to Riku as "papa" and Rena as "mama." As the narrative unfolds, Neene exhibits various abilities, such as transforming Riku into a Kanshu after he is injured in combat and generating a massive orb of light capable of disintegrating anything within it. It is eventually disclosed that Neene is a Kyuki, a queen Kanshu who accumulates memories pilfered by other "drone" Kanshu, growing stronger with each memory absorbed.
