Sara is a 15-year-old high school girl with an extraordinary secret. By day, she's just another student, but by night, she transforms into the celebrated singer known as "Sala." No one knows about her double life, though her close friends sometimes suspect a connection between her and Sala due to their striking resemblance. This suspicion often leaves Sara inwardly panicking, causing her to mutter incoherently. At the beginning of the story, Sara catches her boyfriend cheating on her, and to make matters worse, he breaks up with her without any remorse. To her surprise, her favorite singer and rival, Hayase Shidou, avenges her by exposing her ex-boyfriend's infidelity through the media. This act of kindness makes her admire him even more. Over time, Sara and Hayase grow closer, and she finds herself falling in love with him. Eventually, she decides to reveal her secret identity to him. Sara attends Toua Art School, where aspiring mangakas like her friend Madoka, and future singers like Ryuusei, study and hone their talents.
