Sahara met Gertrude while exploring an abandoned house. Typically calm and composed, Sahara is also known for her helpful nature. Every day, she visits the house to spend time with her friends: Gertrude, Puppen, and Marriotte. When the blank pages of the recipe mysteriously react to her presence, Curtis begins to suspect that Sahara has some link to the missing recipe, a claim she vehemently denies. However, it eventually becomes clear that she does indeed have a connection.
It turns out that the recipe is inscribed on her bones, and removing it would be fatal. This was done by Gertrude's creator, whose soul had taken over the body of Sahara's older brother. He pretends to be her protective sibling solely to safeguard the recipe, intending to use it later to fulfill his own ambitions.
