Ryuichi was the vocalist for the legendary band Nittle Grasper, alongside Noriko Ukai and Tohma Seguchi. However, they disbanded three years ago, after which Ryuichi moved to America to pursue a solo career. There, he met Mr. K (Crawd Winchester), who became his manager. Later, he returned to Japan, where Nittle Grasper reunited, creating rivalry with Shuichi's band, Bad Luck. Tatsuha Uesugi is obsessed with him.

Most of the time, Ryuichi behaves and appears like a little boy, but once he starts singing, he transforms into an incredibly cool performer. He struggles with Japanese but excels in English. Ryuichi is kind to everyone. Even when Bad Luck and Nittle Grasper were rivals, he treated Shuichi as a friend and supported him significantly. While he might come across as a bit naive, that’s what makes him so endearing.
