One of Koizumi's friends, Ryoko, has long purple hair. She remains calm no matter what happens around her, often adjusting her demeanor and comments to fit the situation. In the manga, she is described as a Venus with purple hair due to her well-endowed figure and sexiness. Ryoko has a boyfriend named Konoe, who is a friend of an older brother of one of Saji's friends. Due to Konoe's shyness, Ryoko usually takes the lead in their relationship, which suits her just fine. She has a habit of discreetly supporting Saji and Koizumi's relationship by putting them in compromising situations and making short comments about what Koizumi really means when she expresses frustration or hatred towards Saji.
