Rodeaux is a highly short-tempered and arrogant mamodo who doesn't hesitate to employ deceitful strategies to overpower his opponents. Even after defeating someone, he often distorts the truth, as evidenced in the anime when he falsely claimed that Wonrei pleaded for his life.
Besides being dishonest, Rodeaux displays verbal abuse towards both allies and enemies, especially towards Chita, his partner. Since their first meeting, he has consistently berated his bookkeeper, urging her to become stronger. Despite this harsh treatment, it's clear that he does care for her. He gave her a mask to cover her injury and grew angry when she became more withdrawn. In his final words, he told her to live her life and find love, revealing that she did hold significance to him.
