A large, burly man, he is one of the many individuals from orphanage 511 Kinderheim who falls under Johan's control. He holds Johan in high regard and frequently serves as both his bodyguard and henchman. Known for his professional hitman skills, he possesses considerable proficiency in his trade.
His real name, Adolf Reinhart, has long been forgotten by him. Wolfgang Grimmer is the sole person who remembers him and considered him a friend during their childhood at the orphanage. Shot by Tenma in chapter 73, he appeared to fall into a sea of flames, but later resurfaces in chapter 108 as an attorney for Tenma, using the alias "Baul." Despite this new role, his loyalty to Johan remains unwavering.
He is the most recurring of Johan's henchmen throughout the series, often appearing as a persistent adversary. In the final gunfight of the series, he takes on the role of second-in-command. During this confrontation, he engages in a fight with Lunge and gets shot in the abdomen. Managing to escape, he kills Franz Bonaparte before succumbing to his injuries. His first appearance is noted in Chapter 37.
