As a child, she was teased about her appearance and felt uncomfortable in her own skin. The former "Ageha" gave her a makeup box to help her transform. Without makeup, she wears glasses and is quite shy. Rin lives with her grandparents, who disapprove of makeup, so she keeps her dual life hidden from them. Over time, Rin develops feelings for Riku but doesn't understand what these feelings mean until one of her clients helps her realize that she is in love with him.
