While working, a man named Hosokawa noticed Reycom consuming fish inside a warehouse. Reycom grew fond of Hosokawa, and when Hosokawa was let go from his job, Reycom persuaded him to utilize his blue spell book. Following this, Hosokawa employed Reycom's spells to satisfy all his desires and necessities.
Hosokawa regards Reycom merely as a tool rather than a companion, yet Reycom remains indifferent. Reycom was the second Mamodo that Zatch and Kiyo confronted in the anime series. He is devoid of empathy and revels in chaotic destruction. His two spells, Gikor and Freezudo, are centered around ice-based attacks.
