Li Nataku is a living human-paopei hybrid. Once born as a human, he died and was revived by Taiitsu Shinjin using a lotus plant as the core. With minimal emotions and a cold demeanor—though he has a soft spot for his mother and Kou Tenshou—he primarily exists to fight and is more often "directed" by Taikoubou than leading himself. Nataku harbors a deep resentment towards his father, who destroyed the grave his mother had made for him after his death.
Throughout the story, Nataku acquires several paopeis, mostly bestowed upon him by Taiitsu Shinjin:
Fukarin - boots equipped with metal wheels underneath, serving as a transportation paopei that enables him to fly.
Kenkonken - a pair of iron bracelets functioning as homing missiles, striking targets with immense force.
Kontenryou - a cloth wrapped around his waist, capable of controlling water.
Kinsen - a cannon mounted on his shoulder that fires beams of destructive light.
Kasensou - a spear able to extend its reach.
Kyuryushinkatou II - a container that can be used for both protection and imprisonment.
Kinkousen - Chou Kou Mei's super paopei, integrated into Nataku before the battle with the Signpost of History.
