The only normal human being in the office who assists Asagi with any paranormal case, Naoki is often portrayed as someone easily manipulated without receiving anything in return. He tends to be naive when it comes to disguises and feels uncomfortable whenever confronted with homosexual themes. Naoki first met Asagi during his adolescent school years. Together, they unraveled the mystery of a female student's ghost who had taken her own life and haunted the school corridors.
