sagan nagisa

She is a woman prone to anger, conducting experiments and creating humans who are incapable of feeling physical pain. Despite her youthful appearance, it is later revealed that Nagisa is over 30 years old. Her background and affiliations remain a mystery. She once had a sister, but her fate remains unconfirmed. Nagisa created Youji in the image of her younger sister, possibly as a tribute or to soothe her own emotional pain, though her exact reasons are unclear. Her exaggerated behavior and peculiar lifestyle leave her isolated and alienated. She forms a friendship with Nana and admits, somewhat shamefully, that Nana is her only friend.

Nagisa's relationship with Ritsu is complex. She outwardly displays deep hatred towards him, hoping for nothing more than his failure. However, there are subtle moments that hint at deeper feelings, as she blushes deeply whenever he is near or touches her, although she vehemently denies any care for him. In volumes 3 and 4, she makes a bet with Ritsu that her older Zero pair, Yamato and Koya, can defeat Ritsuka's Soubi. Ultimately, Yamato and Koya lose, and Nagisa's sibling-like rivalry with Ritsu persists.
