nachiguron

Nachiguron is classified as a Kaijuu, hailing from Monster Island. He stands up to 60 meters tall and weighs 50,000 tons, with a Choujin Kyoudo power level of 20,000. His first appearance was in Manga Chapter 12 and Anime Episode 14. Nachiguron is a weak Kaijuu who is afraid of humans. Kinnikuman is sent to confront him but finds Nachiguron to be harmless and decides to let him go. Initially towering at 60 meters, Nachiguron shrinks down to about 1 meter and moves in with Kinnikuman and Meat in Beverly Park. Meat initially objects, already dealing with one big baby (Kinnikuman), but agrees if Nachiguron can take care of himself. Kinnikuman gives Nachiguron a special whistle to use if he gets into trouble and sends him out to buy groceries. Nachiguron is then confronted by the Kaijuu Yakuza for siding with Kinnikuman. He almost uses the whistle but decides to handle things on his own instead. He occasionally reappears cheering for Kinnikuman or serving as referee, but is not seen after the Choujin Olympics. In the anime, however, he first appears during the Choujin Olympics as Zangyaku-seijin's cowardly minion, eventually siding with Kinnikuman. He then becomes Kinnikuman's second sidekick and is frequently seen with Meat throughout the rest of the anime. Nachiguron is bald when he first appears, but in the next chapter, he has shaggy blonde hair, which remains his hairstyle for the remainder of the series. Besides being cowardly, he is also known for being a very loud snorer. He is named after a type of candy called Nachiguro. He did not appear in the Kinnikuman Nisei anime.
