As the son of the president of Kitazawa Building Corp, Minoru hails from an exceedingly wealthy background, with significant expectations placed upon him. He has the potential to meet these expectations, as evidenced by his top marks on the entrance exam for his (extremely costly) private high school. However, Minoru has no interest in pursuing a career in the family business; instead, he dreams of becoming a professional photographer. This divergence in career aspirations has caused tension between him and his ambitious father, leading to mutual resentment.
