Mina is a fashionable "ko-gal." She believed Ai was interested in Yuichiro, the guy she fancied, so she rallied all the girls against Ai. However, after discovering that Ai actually liked Ichinose and not Kato, they became best friends. The reason Yuichiro fears her stems from an incident during junior high when they were left alone in a classroom. Despite Yuichiro's attempts to distance himself from her, Mina relentlessly pursued him. Aware of his feelings for Ai, Mina despises this but there’s a moment in the manga where she encourages him to confess his love to Ai.
Mina often displays vulgarity like Sō, and as Ai noted, she possesses a tiger-like personality, always ready to pounce. Her affection for Yūichirō is evident, and her extensive knowledge about him almost seems like stalking. Even though Yuichiro won't admit it, Ai points out that he and Mina share a close and strong friendship. Throughout the series, Yuichiro and Mina are frequently seen together, having private conversations about school events.
