A companion of Ares and Baroona, he participated in the same Temple mercenary entrance exam as them. He stood out by how quickly he defeated his opponent: it took him just a second. Everyone realized they were witnessing someone with exceptional talent. He played a significant role in the battles fought by Chronos's army (led by General-and-later-King Icarus, who hired the Temple mercenaries). His performance earned him high regard from both his comrades-in-arms and Icarus himself. After an impressive battle against a formidable foe, Icarus offered him a position as one of his generals; Michael declined. Michael always has a leaf in his mouth, which makes him easily identifiable. It's somewhat amusing to see him constantly putting it back after it gets knocked out during fights. As the story progresses, it becomes clear that Michael is hiding aspects of his identity and true intentions. He is mostly silent, speaking only when necessary, usually with precise, often threatening words. Like Sasuke in the anime Naruto, his character is ambiguous and hard to understand. He is ruthless, leaving no survivors behind, which contrasts sharply with Ares's behavior, who seems to value Michael as a true friend. Only at the end of the war against the Daraakians do we learn about Michael's true nature and intentions. While Isiris invaded Chronos, Michael dreaded every moment, especially the attack on the Temple Mercenaries Headquarters. He delayed the attacks on the headquarters until he was sure Ares, Robin, Baroona, and Gohu would survive. He cherished all the memories from his time in Chronos, and his final words expressed relief that he died at the hands of his best friend Ares, who had misunderstood his true intentions.
