Despite being quite intelligent, Maya's submissive and weak-willed nature often leads her to comply with others' requests without question. During a cleanup duty, Maya stumbled upon Shinobu sleeping in an unoccupied room. Overcome by her feelings, she kissed Shinobu, not realizing Shinobu was just starting to wake up. Later, Shinobu addressed the incident with Maya, leading to Maya breaking down and profusely apologizing, offering to do anything to make amends. Shinobu then took Maya to an empty club room and began to seduce her. With some encouragement from Kirin, Maya pledged herself as Shinobu's servant. Maya's loyalty to Shinobu deepened over time, culminating in a three-way relationship between Maya, Shinobu, and Momoko. Under Shinobu's influence, Maya gradually became more confident, though she also developed a rather mischievous side.
