nijihara marin
A Catholic witch hunter who believes Haruo was sent from heaven and requires protection from witches, particularly Ayumi. She collaborates with Ayumi, Yuri, and/or Maika when she senses they share a common goal. Marin is an incompetent and clumsy individual who often injures herself more during her attacks than any of the "evil-witches" she fervently pursues. She epitomizes a Christian zealot who endlessly justifies her hypocrisies with the phrase "It's in the name of the Lord." It remains unclear whether Marin has deeper feelings for Haruo or if she simply admires him for what she calls "keeping away evil witches."
