Yet, when Hiro is about to be caught by the police, she saves him—not out of concern for him, but to avoid both of them getting into trouble. She handles her Junk wisely and takes great care to protect her identity. Nonetheless, Hiro witnesses a woman, likely Manami, entering a car at the same moment the white JUNK engages with a criminal.
