Maho is Ryuusuke's half-sister. She is free-spirited and bold, having been raised in America where she became fluent in English. Though she often comes across as confident and sometimes brash, she is actually quite sensitive. Maho is a talented singer, but her true ambition lies in studying film abroad rather than pursuing a career in music. She meets Koyuki through her brother and becomes one of his staunch supporters, being among the first to recognize Koyuki's musical talent.
Maho and Koyuki eventually develop a romantic relationship. Later on, she attends university in London, but continues to support Koyuki and the band Beck despite living abroad.
