ii ludwig

The protagonist of the narrative is the youthful King of Bavaria. He ascended to the throne at a tender age of eighteen, feeling woefully unprepared for such a significant role. Disenchanted by the escalating conflicts within his realm, he displays a naivety that leads him to trust those who plot to isolate him in his castle. On occasion, he exhibits exuberance, delighting in organizing plays, riding alongside his advisors, and savoring moments with Hornig, his best friend and lover. Yet, there are times when he becomes profoundly moody, tormented, and sensitive, as if the world is closing in on him. His bouts of grief often culminate in bursts of anger, leading him to act without reason. Nonetheless, more often than not, he remains a young dreamer, yearning for a peaceful reign and finding joy in the beauty of life through music, art, and the comforting presence of Hornig. credits: http://www.geocities.com/gedojudea/ludwig/gakl.html
