Noin is a close friend of Zechs from their time at the Lake Victoria military academy. After graduating, she joined the academy's staff and now trains new Specials recruits in space combat tactics. Despite being an accomplished mobile suit pilot, Noin prefers not to engage in fighting. She frequently leverages her influence with OZ's leader, Treize Khushrenada, to seek peaceful resolutions to crises. Her loyalty to Zechs is unwavering, and she is protective of him and his younger sister. Eventually, she becomes a Special Guard of the Sanc Kingdom to safeguard Relena. In Frozen Teardrop, At an unspecified date, Milliardo and Noin get married and have twins, Naina and Milou. While Zechs departs with Naina to travel to Mars under a new identity, Noin remains behind with Milou. Her elder brother, Nix-Deuf Noinheim, is the President of a major Corporation and adopts Milliardo's name as his alias, becoming the first President of Mars. When he is assassinated by an anti-Mars Federation rebel group, Noin and her children attend the funeral—noticeably not shedding any tears for the deceased "Milliardo," with Zechs standing behind them.
