Leo Aoi hails from unoccupied islands in Africa, living as a boy of nature. Despite his intimidating appearance, Leo is very naive and ignorant, essentially a little kid inside an 18-year-old's body. Whenever he encounters blood or faces an attack, he loses control and turns violent. He first meets Yuiko after rescuing her cat from a tree. However, he flees upon seeing her, frightened. As the story progresses, he develops feelings for Yuiko, even referring to her as his "#1 reason to live."
