toudou kyoushirou

Toudou Kyoushirou is the head of military operations for the Black Knights and an exceptionally skilled fighter. He earned the nickname "Tohdou of Miracles" for single-handedly defeating the unstoppable Holy Britannian Empire during the invasion of Japan, notably achieving this without using Knightmare Frames. This event became known as the Miracle of Itsukushima. He was a childhood instructor to Suzaku Kururugi and one of the few Japanese people who understands his ideals. Tohdou frequently carries a katana. Initially, he was part of the Japan Liberation Front and resigned himself to death when the group was wiped out. However, Zero convinced him to join the Black Knights to fulfill the promise of victory from the Miracle of Itsukushima. Like Kaname, he remained loyal to Zero even after Zero's capture during the Black Rebellion, believing that Zero had a valid reason not to inform his troops about his plans. Later, he led Black Knight forces in liberation operations across the Chinese Federation and the Middle East. Eventually, he was named Chief of Staff of the newly reorganized Black Knights, which served as the national army of the UFN.
