inaba kyouko

The fiery-haired, temperamental girl in Nuube's class, Kyouko Inaba, is the student who trusts and may even have a liking for the teacher the most. Her first meeting with him took place several years earlier when Nuube, then a college student, saved Kyouko, then a young girl, from an inari spirit. (Though it is hinted that they might have met earlier in a past life.) She is regarded as one of the most caring characters, often looking after Nuube and her classmates' welfare and displaying emotional attachment whenever something happens to someone she cares about. Initially appearing cute and innocent, Kyouko can have a violent temper that drives her friends and even her teacher a bit crazy (though this mellows over time). When Hiroshi joins the class, she finds the boy annoying but gradually develops hidden romantic feelings for him as the series progresses. On the other hand, she has a love/hate rivalry with her closest friend, Miki Hosokawa, usually over physical issues like her flat chest, big butt, and Sailor Moon-like pigtails.
