morooka kyoko

Kyoko is the head and sole member of the Eiken club's science division, as well as a former member of the science club. Despite her small child-like appearance, she is actually 14 years old. Even in photographs from when she was younger, there isn't much difference in her height or appearance. Although she acts tough, Kyoko has a fondness for cute things, such as kittens and a fictional action hero in the series called Nekomanman. She secretly envies the other girls in the club for their mature bodies while she still looks like a young child, but she masks this by stating that, as an aspiring scientist, she doesn't need to be tall or curvaceous. In the previously mentioned photograph, her mother appears to be of average height, suggesting that either her father was quite short or she hasn't yet experienced a growth spurt. In a dream Densuke had, Kyoko was envisioned as tall and beautiful ten years into the future. Kyoko's father passed away several years before the start of the series, leaving her mother to raise her alone. However, her mother was recruited as the top engineer for a foreign company, leaving Kyoko on her own. Although Kyoko says she is proud of her mother, she still misses her greatly. Kyoko seems to reside in a science facility built within a large canyon, with its exact location unknown. She often treats Densuke like a guinea pig for her inventions, but it's also possible she harbors feelings for him, as evidenced by her repeated threats when he, like with all the other girls, ends up doing something she deems perverted. Due to her appearance, this reaction is much more subdued compared to the other girls.
