A short boy in Takaya's class, he is the first to discover Lilim, aside from Takaya. During a conflict between Lilim and Takaya, she temporarily stays with Kojima, who teaches her how to write. Unlike most boys at his school, except for Takaya, he maintains common sense over his attraction to Lilim. He briefly becomes infatuated with another lilim known as 'Sempai' after she gives him his first French kiss and steals his lifeforce. This fascination leads him to attempt summoning a lilim demon through a magical ritual, but instead, he conjures a wyvern that eventually transforms into Pyu-chan. Even before these events, Kojima has been an occult enthusiast, which makes him Takaya's primary source of information about lilim and the occult.
