kochigawa

A member of Atheos and one of the masterminds behind the entire Atheos project, Kochigawa initially comes across as a cold-hearted woman focused solely on her objectives. She mercilessly assigns Aiko to perilous missions, evaluating Aiko purely based on convenience and utility. Once Aiko became of no use to the Atheos organization, Kochigawa handed her over to Director Okuda. It is revealed later that Kochigawa's mother was Director Okuda's wife and had undergone Chimaira treatment. However, when her mother transformed into a Chimaira, she was killed by Okuda. Since then, Kochigawa has harbored hatred towards her father and wished to revive her mother, planning to do so alongside Okuda, using Aiko for this purpose. When her plan was uncovered by a close associate, Yuji Oumi, she disregarded his appeals to escape with her, leading to Oumi's apparent death, although this was later proven false. Meeting Oumi again changed her outlook, and she aligned with the protagonists, killing her father and committing suicide by locking herself in the self-destructing facility. (Source: Wikipedia)
