A talented stylist with no desire for fame, Kiri occasionally offers makeovers to girls facing certain issues. Her laid-back demeanor often irritates Narumi. He's particularly annoyed by her hairstyle—a layered bob she gave herself after abandoning her career as a hairstylist—leading him to nickname her "Puffy Head" or "Mussy Head." When using her skills to assist someone, Kiri frequently says, "I'll help you add a little magic."
As a child, Kiri accidentally cut her mother's ear while trimming her hair, an incident that left her emotionally scarred. She is also afraid of the dark and cockroaches. Kiri's poor drawing skills caused her to quit a competition in third grade and led to Narumi vowing revenge against her.
Following the national beauty competition and before Kiri relocates to L.A., she tells Narumi they will meet again and gives him her BP hat.
Kiri and Narumi eventually have two children and run a bustling company called the Scissor Project.
