A student living independently experiences an accident that leaves him in a coma, during which his soul is transported back in time.
During his journey, he uncovers that he was once Sali Tayi in a previous life and has been pulled back through time by the spirits of the family he had killed, who now inhabit the body he currently occupies. He comes to understand that to end this torment, he must eliminate both Sali Tayi and himself. It is further revealed to him that when Sa Kyung died during his comatose state, he took over Sa Kyung's body.
