Kazuya is an orphan who was brought up by his elder brother, Kazuhiro, who studied at Ryokuto Academy. Kazuya looked up to his brother and aspired to attend Ryokuto to emulate him. As the series begins, we witness Kazuya enrolling in the school, achieving his long-held dream. However, a sequence of bizarre mishaps causes him to be extremely late.
