Kazusa is a professional dog therapist, his partner Asuka and him begin their debut at a hospital where they meet Rino. Although Rino did not come close to them and participate Asuka goes over to her only to be injuried which later angers Kazusa and he yells at her. Kazusa is energetic and excited about his career, he also cares deeply for Asuka whom he rescued from the animal shelter. He also begins to care for Rino and helps encourage her to go to rehabilitation and try her best in all that she does.
