Nishizawa Kazuki is Ayumu's younger brother and a friend of Wataru. About a year ago, Kazuki encountered Nagi while she was attempting to retrieve a balloon caught in a tree, and he instantly fell for her. When they crossed paths again at Wataru's shop, Kazuki invited her for a stroll and eventually revealed his feelings to her.

During their "date," Nagi shared that she already had someone she loved. After witnessing Hayate rescue her from falling into a lake, Kazuki realized that the person she loved was actually Hayate.
