A new transfer student at Hakuou Academy and a resident of the Violet Mansion. She initially arrives as a substitute for Wataru Tachibana at Hakuou. Soon, she forms a close friendship with Nagi. Her deep interest in games, anime, and manga stems from her early childhood. She made her first appearance in the movie "Heaven is a Place on Earth" before being introduced in the manga.
It's revealed that due to her parents' influence, she has been surrounded by anime, manga, and games since birth and has read over 100,000 manga volumes. It's mentioned that she was named after Lady Kayura from Ronin Warriors. Hayate asked her to become an adviser for Nagi's manga, but she declined.
She is also very supportive of cosplay and is often seen wearing costumes from various anime. Like many other students at Hakuou Academy, she is a grade-skipping prodigy. Thanks to her extensive manga experience, she can understand Nagi's doujinshi manga, along with Isumi. According to Hayate, she is considered an elite Otaku.
