A bright girl gets dumped by her boyfriend just before a trip they had planned to take together. She decides to go on the trip alone and there she meets a Japanese boy. They end up having a one-night stand, and she leaves for Japan without ever knowing his name. Fatefully, they reunite at her father's funeral: he turns out to be her younger brother, whom she hadn't seen since they were children. Usually obedient by nature, she struggles with the guilt of acting against her own moral principles and disappointing her mother, who has always seen her as "a good and responsible daughter."
