Karen is the leader of the Flower Tribe. In the past, she had romantic feelings for her best friend, Kyoko. Karen is a girly and glamorous girl, known as a Flower Stranger. She has a deep fear of men and cries whenever they touch her.
However, she fell in love with Mitsuru Kikurage, and interestingly, she doesn’t cry when he touches her. Kikurage warned Karen not to leave his flower garden, secretly planning to sell her. Despite knowing his intentions from the start, Karen hoped that Kikurage would grow to love her so much that he wouldn't go through with it.
Nevertheless, Kikurage proceeded to take her to a black-market auction to sell her. But Kyoko intervened, rescuing Karen and escaping with her. Although Kikurage fell into the water during the struggle, Karen still chose to save him.
