Karada is a cheerful young girl on the verge of starting her first year of junior high school. Her parents died when she was two, and since then, she has lived with her older brother, Hiro. She appears younger than her age and wishes to mature more quickly because she dislikes being treated like a child. To avoid worrying Hiro, she has taught herself how to cook and manage household chores. Her friend and classmate, Tetsuya, seems to have developed feelings for her.
She is unaware that Hiro is not her biological brother.
