First met Shin Jaegyu when he accidentally ran over her leftover money from her grandmother. She inadvertently ripped his shirt, and before he could react, she fled. Later, they crossed paths at the mall. In a rush to protect her friend from him, she stumbled, unintentionally pulling down his pants in the process. Embarrassed, he ran away. Soon after, he faced his father's men. To escape, he dislocated his shoulder and fled. Finding Jaegyu again, he collapsed. She took him back to his apartment. Upon waking, he proposed a contract: she would be his pretend girlfriend, and he would pay her handsomely ("that's a lot of zeros"). Jaegyu moved in with him as the contract progressed. Though HweonHwan initially saw her as an idiotic, annoying, stubborn, and loud girl, he soon realized his feelings for her were more than just employer-employee. His father heads a massive company and wants him to take over, going to great lengths to keep him focused. This includes taking away things he loves and hurting people he cares about. He has a passion for Muay Thai and a deep respect for his master. (Muay Thai is a martial art.)
