jormungand

A demon lord that came into the possession of Ravelli's body. He lived in a large, tower-like castle that rose high into the sky, above the clouds.

Unlike other Demon Lords, who apparently had some sort of unspoken agreements with each other concerning territory creation, Jormungand was intent on conquering the entire continent and killing everyone in his path. Time and time again, Jormungand slaughtered the heroes Neavhilde had brought to defeat him. After killing Niguel with a rain of swords, he was attacked by Neavhilde directly, and promptly smashed her down into the world below.

A few months later, he gathered enough strength to wage a great war across the continent. He was later defeated by a great hero that rose up in that war.


He and Neav evidently had a close relationship. It is not known how Ravelli became a Demon Lord, but, by the time Neav and Niguel confronted Jormungand, Ravelli was already gone.
